TOPSHOP BUCHANAN STREET PREVIEW

Last night I was invited along to the Topshop Buchanan Street store preview. Recently they have been undergoing an exciting new refurb and let me tell you the new store looks AMAZING. When I think back to what the store used to be like - or should I say felt like? which was small, dim and a little bit crammed, well let me tell you that it be no more! The store is so bright and spacious and they've even created more floor space where the fitting rooms used to be at the back making way for lots more amazing clothes. The store was looking in tip-top condition and the visual merchandising work in store was bang on trend - of course with the Topshop twist. See for yourself below.

The store now stretches itself over the three floors, so boys unfortunately no more Topman for you here but the good news is it's only a couple of doors up HOORAH! In store we took a look at the different trends they are pushing atm which went from sports luxe to folk trend and from flower garden to pacific life. Every time I go to previews like these it makes me envious that I'm not a girl as all the clothes are just so amazing! I always need to try a little something something on so last night it was some sunglasses but I wont embaress myself by showing you's the picture.

Next it was time for the fashion show - some of the Topshop staff where kind enough to don this seasons must have pieces and strut down the runway in front of us bloggers and some other Topshop staff - if it where me I'd be shaking like a leaf so I think a huge WELL DONE is in order for these guys.

So, if you had to make me choose a favourite outfit from each gender hands down I would say for Topshop the triple denim combo done it for me and for Topman the oversize dogstooth shirt - which is on my NEED NEED NEED list.

So there you have it, a night with Topshop summed up in a blog. Get yourselves down to the new store and see the new fantastic look and whilst your there get yourself up-to date on this seasons hottest trends and must have pieces.

Right, well we've seen about every female fashion blogger don these matchy matchy, co-ord, two pieces right in time for summer. What about the boys I hear you say? Well don't worry scottnothingtodowithyou has got it covered. I've handpicked a few of my favourite co-ords and floral numbers that are available for us boys to wear with style this summer. These are key pieces that can either be dressed up or down and keep you the centre of attention - if that's what your into.

 Bomber -  New Look | Shorts - ASOS | Co-ord Suit - ASOS |
Shirt - Joyrich | Shirt - USC | Shorts - USC

There you have it my chosen key floral and co-ord pieces for the summer. I've got a few of these on my wish list at the moment and can't wait to show you how I style them up. Whats great about each of the above is that they are all very affordable which allows you to keep the bank balance happy and you never know you might even be able to squeeze in a couple of cocktails and look ever so trendy whilst doing so.

SUMMER IS COMING I AM VERY EXCITED ARE YOU?

ASOS HIGH SUMMER COLLECTION

Recently I was invited along to preview the ASOS High Summer collection and boy oh boy was I in for a treat. I'm not going to write much in this post I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.

First off it was a fantastic day in Glasgow the sun was shining and it was a really feel good day - well, for me it was anyway. I had arranged to meet Eilidh from maisy meow before hand so we didn't need to venture in alone. When we arrived we got talking to the press girls Aoife and Charlotte who told us a little about the new collections that are be launched in late May -  not long to wait boys and girls!

Firstly I took a look at the men's collection where I was greeted by tailored suits, denims and an array of I NEED THESE SHOES type of shoes. I spotted a few Harris Tweed numbers in here as well - recently I've noticed a lot of people talking about Harris Tweed seems like it's gonna be a biggie will need to be getting me some! We where also told that the fabric were sourced and made locally so for example the Harris Tweed is Scottish and some of the shirts where Irish Linen.

Next up was the girls collections, which totally made me envious! It went from pastels to pvcs to embellishments to print to coords I just wanted to take every single piece home with me!

They even brought along some of their new products and accessories that will be launching on the ASOS site soon.

I think that it's truly safe to say that ASOS have delivered and we can expect to see one of the most colourful and exciting summers that fashion has to bring to us yet THANK YOU ASOS!
